Bassist, performer, and composer Luciano Poli is based in Rotterdam and active in the European and international jazz scene. He moved to the Netherlands in 2004 to study with Hein Van De Geyn and Frans van de Haven, completing his Master’s degree in jazz double bass at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.

Throughout his career, Luciano has toured extensively with various projects in the USA, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, South Korea, the UK, China, Israel, and many countries across Europe. He is currently focused on projects within the European music scene.

He has had the pleasure and honour of sharing the stage with renowned artists such as  Vince Benedetti, Karel Boehlee, Frits Landesbergen, Rio Mol, Peter Erskine, Frans Elsen, and many others, thankful to keep sharing music with the jazz community at home and abroad.
